Lisa Fabiano was born and raised in Southeastern Pennsylvania. In her early twenties she headed west and settled in the foothills of Colorado. She worked in high-tech, as a chef in vegetarian and fine dining restaurants, as a legal professional, and studied Philosophy at U.C.C.S. Lisa realized her creative passion when she began painting and drawing in 1996.
Fabiano’s artwork is non-representation, focusing on color, texture, and process to communicate her personal perceptual experiences. She primarily uses oil on canvas or panel, applied in a direct and free manner, resulting in vibrant diverse imagery. Her work, although contemporary, is related to Abstract Impressionism, Expressionism, and American Lyrical Abstraction.
Lisa is currently represented by G44 Gallery. Her artwork is also available at the the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center Museum Shop and held in many private collections.
