Lisa Fabiano was born and raised in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
In her early twenties she headed west and settled in the foothills
of Colorado. She worked in high-tech, as a chef in vegetarian and
fine dining restaurants, as a legal professional, and studied
Philosophy at U.C.C.S. She discovered her creative passion
when she began painting and drawing in 1996.
Fabiano’s work is non-objective, focusing on color, texture, and
process to communicate her personal perceptual experiences.
She primarily uses oil on canvas or panel, applied in a direct and
free manner, resulting in vibrant diverse imagery. Lisa’s work and
processes relate strongly to Abstract Impressionism,
Expressionism, and American Lyrical Abstraction.
