Tara lives and works in Colorado Springs, CO. She works with acrylics, various mark-making implements, and collage materials. She paints and glazes in a layering method. Tara has a printmaking background (printmaking was really her first love). Sometimes her printmaking sensibility tends to find its way into her abstract paintings.
